A Workshop by Peter Skvarenina

This workshop is an overview of underlying cutting-edge concepts currently employed in the field of self-driving cars. The intent is to present actionable concepts, providing implementation hints and pointers to allow one to program a basic self-driving car on their own. Everyone is welcome to attend, however this is an advanced course and one should have a basic understanding of programing and math.

About the speaker: Peter Skvarenina specializes in advanced algorithms, machine learning and robotics. He currently runs his own machine learning and automation company, is a graduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology and a soon-to-be graduate of Udacity's self-driving car Nanodegree. Peter has previously worked with well known companies such as JetBrains (makers of IntelliJ IDEA/Kotlin), Nokia, and SUN Microsystems (makers of Java).
