Head of Division:

Our Head of Division will be supervising the Editorial, Events, Education and Marketing & Communications Leads. The role of this position is to lead, communicate, develop and motivate the staff to ensure best performance to meet the organisation's needs. In addition, the Head of Division will work closely with other Heads of Divisions across other cities, and report to the Central Team. The Head of Division should have excellent analytical, interpersonal, project, organisational and team management skills and build relationships with the Head of Division of other regions.

Events Lead

Our Events are known to be some of the best quality globally. The Events Lead will be responsible for building and delivering the organisation's events. The post holder will work on a variety of projects whilst maintaining high standards and will possess excellent communication, organisational, marketing and attention to detail skills. This position is perfect for someone that enjoys to communicate with other people and trouble-shoot on the spot.

Editorial Lead

The Editorial team's publications became very popular over the last year. The Editorial Lead will curate and edit articles from Divisional Editorial sources. The Editorial Lead will be an excellent science communicator with a broad industrial, academic and societal awareness. The role of the Editoral Lead will include delivering the Newsletter and identifying key subjects for interview and hot/up-and-coming topics for media coverage, keep consistent communication and organisation with the team members as well as ensuring the quality and consistency of content produced. The Editorial Lead will mirror the our Events, Consulting & Education with appropriate articles, internal or outsourced, to relay to the Marketing & E-Marketing Teams. The Editorial Lead role is a unique opportunity to simultaneously demonstrate and develop writing, leadership and organisational skills.

Editorial Writer

Website Developer

Website developer will take the lead in creating and maintaining a new SIU website.

Marketing Lead

The Marketing team is responsible for advertising our events through our channels. We are looking for creative minds to set a new standard in branding our events. You should be able to use Illustrator.

The SIU is expanding as never-before, and has major plans for 2017-2018. In parallel to our primary Central Team and well established divisions in UK, Germany and Poland, we are introducing new projects and establishing new local Divisions across Europe.
