SIUOxford hosted a very popular event on 12th Feb 2018. We welcomed Dr Michalis Papadakis, CEO and co-founder of Brainomix, and Lachlan MacKinnon, a principal at Oxford Sciences Innovation (a £600m fund). CheXNet, a deep learning algorithm developed by scientists in Stanford, is one of the methods we can utilise machine learning for early detection of pneumonia.
